Add a Pop! of color with these projects: 

Pillow Pop!

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Vickie Howell Sheep(ish), in color:
• 1 ball (A) White(ish)
• 1 ball (A) Turquoise(ish)
• 1 ball (A) Coral(ish)
• 1ball (B) Black(ish)
• Size H/8 crochet hook
• Tapestry Needle
• 18" x 18" pillow form

DIRECTIONS:
FINISHED MEASUREMENT:
18" x 18"

GAUGE:
16 dc and 6 rows = 4"

Front
With B, ch 6. Join in ring with sl st to first ch.
1st rnd: Ch 3, (counts as a dc here and throughout), 2 dc in ring, [ch 3, 3 dc in ring] 3
times, ch 3; join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.
2nd rnd: Ch 5, (counts as dc and ch-2 sp here and throughout), *[3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc] in
next corner ch-3 sp, ch 2; rep from * 2 more times, [3 dc, ch 3, 2 dc] in first corner ch-3
sp; join with a sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-5.
3rd rnd: Sl st in next ch-2 sp, ch 3, 2 dc in same ch-2 sp, *ch 2, [3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc] in next
corner ch-3 sp, ch 2**, 3 dc in next ch-2 sp; rep from * 3 more times, ending last rep at
**; join with a sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.
4th rnd: Ch 5, 3 dc in next ch-2 sp, *[3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc] in next corner ch-3 sp, ch 2**, [3
dc, ch 2] in each of next 2 ch-2 sps; rep from * 3 more times, ending last rep at **, 2 dc
in next ch-2 sp; join with a sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-5.
Join A; cut B.
5th rnd: Join A with sl st in next ch-2 sp, ch 3, 2 dc in same ch-2 sp, *ch 2, [3 dc, ch 3, 3
dc] in next corner ch-3 sp, ch 2**, 3 dc in each ch-2 sp to next corner ch-3 sp; rep from *
3 more times, ending last rep at **; join with a sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.
6th rnd: With A, ch 5, dc in next ch-2 sp, *[3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc] in next corner ch-3 sp, ch
2**, [3 dc, ch 2] in each ch-2 sp to next corner ch-3 sp; rep from * 3 more times, ending
last rep at **, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp; join with a sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-5.
Join D; cut A.
7th rnd: With D, rep 5th rnd.
Join C; cut D.
8th rnd: With C, rep 6th rnd.
9th rnd: With C, rep 5th rnd.
Join B; cut C.

Join A; cut B.
11th rnd: With A, rep 5th rnd.

Fasten off.

Back
With A, work as for Front, omitting all references to color changes.

Finishing
Block if necessary.
Place WS or Front and Back tog. Working through both thicknesses, join A with sl st at
corner. Ch 1. Work 3 sc in corner. Sc around 3 sides to join, working 3 sc in each
corner. Slip pillow form in position and sc remaining side closed. Join with sl st to first
sc. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Vase Pop!

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Vickie Howell Sheep(ish), in color:
• 1 ball (A) Grey(ish)
• 1ball (B) Coral(ish)
• Size 8 knitting needles
• Tapestry needle

DIRECTIONS:
FINISHED MEASUREMENT:
8" tall

GAUGE:
16 sts and 28 rows = 4" in garter stitch
Note: Knitting every row produces garter stitch.

1. With A, CO 46 sts.
2. Knit every row, until piece measures 3-3/4" from bottom edge.
3. Join B; cut A.
4. With B, knit every row until piece measures 5-1/2" from bottom edge.
5. Rejoin A; cut B.
6. With A, knit every row until piece measures 8".
7. BO, leaving a 12" tail.

FINISHING:
Using tapestry needle and tail, seam long ends together to create cylinder shape.
Weave in ends.
